Your Hearts Are Like My Hands

So yes. This is my DW account. I've had it for a couple years and never did anything with it, but since it was basically a clean slate, I figured I'd start posting my original fiction over here. I had an account on LJ where I used to do that, but it's bogged down by ramblings about my life as a freshman in college and I don't feel like attempting to edit all of that ridiculousness out. So instead, I'm putting original work here. It worked out nicely, I think.

You might find all sorts of things here. I write short fiction and poetry, I attempt to write longer pieces of fiction with little to no success. I enjoy supernatural things like vampires and werewolves, but I write about other things as well - life experiences and lessons, attempts at introspection, crack. It depends on how I'm feeling. I'm not going to warn for much, honestly. Chances are, if you're here, you know what I write and what you'll probably find. Some of it will be graphic. Some of it won't be. I'm fairly certain there won't be a lot of sex in anything I write, since I prefer fading to black on that sort of thing these days - unless, of course, it's important for the plot or the scene. But that's up in the air.

I love feedback and constructive criticism, if you feel like offering it. If not, that's cool, too. I don't live for comments. :) I just wanted to put this all somewhere that wasn't my HD. Everything here will basically be friends locked, since I've heard rumors about publishers being weird about things and, if I ever get around to attempting to have things published, I'd like to avoid that awkwardness.
